The analysis of the photospheric velocity field is essential for understanding plasma turbulence in solar surface, which may be responsible driving processes such as magnetic reconnection, flares, wave propagation, particle acceleration, and coronal heating. Currently, only available methods to estimate velocities at photosphere transverse an observer's line sight infer flows from differences image structure successive observations. Due data noise, algorithms local correlation tracking (LCT) lead a vector with wide gaps where no vectors are provided. In this letter, novel method inpainting highly corrupted proposed applied restoration horizontal fields photosphere. restored preserves all components present original field. shows robustness when both simulated observational data.
